GS Mission Statement

Welcome Golden Saints Football and Cheerleading Families and Fans!

Whether you’re a returning player, first year participant or simply a Golden Saints fan, we’d like to extend a warm welcome to you, and hope this season proves to be a fun and rewarding experience.
The Golden Saints are a non-profit organization that is led by a group of volunteers. Our success is based on the dedication and commitment of those volunteers and our families! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all family members who have or will volunteer their time and talents this upcoming season.

The mission of the Golden Saints Organization is to enable young athletes to excel in athletics while encouraging the value of scholastics, sportsmanship, and competition in a safe and structured environment. We stress teamwork, cooperation and good character in the classroom, on the field and in the community. We believe that participating in our football and cheerleading programs will help to instill children with life-long values of commitment, dedication, and superior work ethic that they will be able to take with them and use throughout their lives.

The goal of Golden Saints Football and Cheerleading programs is to provide all children quality instruction; teaching them the meaning of good sportsmanship, team fundamental values and leadership skills in a positive environment. We stress physical fitness and strive to provide opportunities for all participants to develop individual skills and abilities while being a contributing member of a team. It is most important that we provide a way for our athletes to build lasting friendships, great memories, and most of all we are here to have fun! Our job, as parents and coaches, is to facilitate a fun learning experience and to lead by example. Our programs have no tryouts. Everyone participates and our number one goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable and memorable football and cheerleading experience for all participating children. We believe that we have one of the best youth programs in the area – both in terms of competitiveness and values. Our success depends upon a commitment to excellence from our participants, coaches, and parents.

Lastly, we thank you for trusting us with your most treasured “possessions,” your children. A safe, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for your child is our number one goal. We thank you for your interest and your continued support. It is our sincere hope that we have an exciting and rewarding football and cheerleading season.
